The Story of a Dream Come True
Elena and Marc have long been intrepid travellers who love nothing more than to hop in the water any chance they get. It therefore goes without saying that a diving liveaboard was their idea of a dream holiday. When, in 2021, they got the opportunity to transform that dream holiday into their everyday reality, by building and managing their own authentic Indonesian yacht, they took the plunge and never looked back.
They made a life-changing decision to uproot their life in the French mountains and moved halfway around the world to build and manage a diving liveaboard. Keen to be involved in every step of the process, they discussed the design and blueprints, they visited the boatyard in Bira where traditional Phinisi yacht Indonesia ketches are handcrafted and then they continue to manage the bookings and cruises for this luxury yacht charter Indonesia, Majik.

The love story between the Italian Elena, the life and soul of the party, and Marc, a French veterinarian, began over two decades ago. With Elena’s creativity and warmth and Marc’s technical mind, they complement one another perfectly. An active couple, they share many passions and have travelled far and wide, diving in some of the most exquisite locations around the world.
