About Us

Elena and Marc have long been intrepid travellers who love nothing more than to hop in the water any chance they get. For this Italian and French couple, building and running a luxury diving liveaboard started off as a dream. In 2021, they left their life in a French ski resort behind to build a traditional Phinisi boat in Indonesia. Their dream – Majik – was brought to life and now they look forward to welcoming you aboard for exceptional and personalised cruises, during which you will discover the beauty of the Indonesian archipelago.

We had an amazing time on Majik. The crew were fantastic, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Several times, someone pointed out sharks, dolphins or mantas to us even when we were not diving or in the water. We very much enjoyed the creative drinks after every dive and the food was always delicious. There were many comfortable areas to relax on board in between dives. - Raja Ampat Central & North Trip (18 Nov 2023-25 Nov 2023)

A wonderful discovery! We took a 15-day cruise on the Majik in Raja Ampat. The Majik is a beautiful, comfortable boat, fitted out with taste and elegance. With its 4 spacious and beautifully appointed double cabins, it is ideal for small groups. The crew is attentive and the chef is fantastic. We've been doing dive cruises all over the world for nearly 15 years, and have experienced many different boats. The Majik is definitely at the top of our list! It's also suitable for non-divers: you can kayak, snorkel or simply relax in the various areas on the boat. The Majik is a luxury cruise!

We had the opportunity to spend 16 days aboard the Majik on a dive cruise in Raja Ampat in April 2023. It was our second cruise in this region. We were captivated by the luxurious service provided by this ship and its crew: the room we had was huge, the bedding worthy of a hotel room. Of the thirty or so cruises I've taken around the world, this is probably the best food I've ever tasted on a ship. The crew are always attentive. We were offered a 45-minute massage per passenger. The crew adapt to the needs of divers and non-divers alike, offering kayaking, snorkelling, island walks or a candlelit dinner on an island. The boat diverts several times to watch orcas and pods of hundreds of dolphins. Another element that adds to the exclusivity of the Majik experience is that the boat has only 4 double cabins: it's an ideal size for getting away with friends, far from the crowds I've experienced on other boats with more than 20 passengers! As for diving, there are usually three trips a day. The crew were always on hand to help anyone who needed it, whether it was preparing or carrying blocks or helping the photographers with their housings. The two dive guides knew the local wildlife inside out. On the menu: whale sharks, dolphins on the dive, manta rays, stingrays, orcas (on the surface), guitar sharks and wobbegong. It's also thanks to their keen and experienced eyes that we've regularly seen the full range of Raja Ampat's macro fauna (pigmy seahorses, leaf fish, frog fish...). More than just a trip, Majik provided us with a unique and unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back and discover the arch of fire south of Ambon!
