The love for the maritime profession runs in Ferdy’s family. Both his father and grandfather were also captains, and Ferdy has been following in their footsteps for over 20 years now. The sea has been his way of life, and he finds immense joy in his role as a captain. He has a strong sense of responsibility towards his crew and the boat.
What Ferdy truly cherishes about his work is the opportunity to explore new places. The thrill of sailing early in the morning, with a cup of coffee in hand while everyone else is still asleep, is a lifestyle he has embraced wholeheartedly. Witnessing the smiles on the faces of the guests as they wake up to discover the breathtaking beauty of the areas they cruise through is a source of joy for Ferdy. He has a loving wife and two children.

Born in Perugia, a picturesque city in Central Italy, Giulia was captivated by the sea from a young age. A mesmerizing dive into the vibrant hues of the Red Sea set the course of her life on an extraordinary path. With more than two decades of experience as a certified diver, Giulia has explored some of the most stunning corners of the Indo-Pacific, gaining an exceptional depth of knowledge and an unwavering passion for the marine ecosystem.
Her ability to share the magic of the ocean’s wonders is unparalleled, transforming each dive into a meaningful journey of discovery and connection. As cruise director and dive instructor, Giulia knows exactly how to tailor each diving experience to match the unique interests and abilities of her guests, guaranteeing not only a memorable adventure but an impeccably safe one as well.
Giulia is renowned for her exceptional warmth and hospitality, effortlessly going the extra mile to ensure that each guest feels not just welcomed, but truly at home aboard the Majik Cruise. Jaka
Singaraja, Bali
Cruise Director
Growing up on the north-central coast of Bali in Singaraja, Jaka had the ocean as his playground, which became an integral part of his childhood from the very beginning. With over ten years of professional diving under his belt, Jaka has explored Indonesia’s diverse underwater worlds and gained a deep understanding of marine life.
Jaka’s extensive experience has turned him into an expert in the underwater world, particularly in macro marine life. His keen eyes underwater allow him to spot the tiniest macro critters, greatly enhancing the diving experiences of all guests and enriching their understanding of marine biodiversity.
Over the years, his dedication and exploration have deepened his love for marine life, especially for the vibrant nudibranch, which he describes as one of his favorite sea creatures.
Moreover, Jaka takes immense pride and joy in sharing the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Indonesia. He offers an authentic and comprehensive experience that beautifully complements the diving adventures.
Jaka’s enthusiasm for the great outdoors spans a wide range of adventurous activities. Whether it is camping in the mountains, canyoning, or paragliding high above the land, his broad expertise is a testament to a lifelong commitment to embracing and exploring the nature’s wonders.

Zazen

Chief Officer
Zazen truly enjoys working on a boat, as he loves driving the boat and experiencing the peace and tranquility of cruising. Setting sail and putting up the anchor signifies exploration, feeling the wind, and discovering new places. These experiences bring Zazen joy and make him happy.
Furthermore, he values the bond of the crew, as they become like a family to him while being on board.
Ulis
Sorong, Papua
Second Chief Officer / Tender Driver
Ulis is happily married and has two daughters. Ulis received his training and certificates from Sorong Maritime School.
As a devoted family man, Ulis prioritizes the well-being of his loved ones. His work on a boat not only enables him to fulfill his responsibility towards his family but also satisfies his deep love for the sea. Ulis loves to be out on the ocean and takes great delight in his role on board Majik Cruise.
Bas Anjas
Makassar, South Sulawesi
Chief Engineer
Andi or usually called Bas Anjas is a loving father of two daughters.
He is always close to the engine room, near the heart of the vessel, to ensure everything operates smoothly.
His active nature is evident in his love for the sea and swimming, which he enjoys whenever he gets the opportunity.
Before he joined Majik Cruise he was working on a conservation boat in Europe. He has now found happiness in his role onboard Majik where he also is in charge of the preparation of diving tanks. His presence and skills contribute to a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Haeril
Pangkep, South Sulawesi
Second Engineer
Working on a boat allows him to provide for his family while also pursuing his passion for sailing. Furthermore, Haeril enjoys the sense of community on a boat and appreciates the opportunity to learn about different cultures.
While his main role onboard is as an engineer mechanician, Haeril also assist the guests, carries out repairs, and assists in diving preparations. As a diver himself, he loves to be in the water.
Working on a boat presents Haeril with an exceptional opportunity to explore the beauty of Indonesia. He is a family man, with a wife and a daughter.
Franki
Bitung, North Sulawesi
Speedboat Driver
He trained in Sorong and wanted to work on a boat to support his family. He enjoys being able to help the other crew members on board and be of assistance to the guests.
He is proud to be able to drive the boat under the captain’s supervision and has had the opportunity to sail to various places in Indonesia.
Franki cherishes the friendly moments with the guests and considers the crew as a family.
Ikhy
Makassar, South Sulawesi
Speedboat Driver, Oiler
He started his career a few years ago working on a diving boat, where he not only improved his English skills but also gained valuable knowledge on boat engines. This motivated him to gain more knowledge onboard Majik liveaboard.
For Ikhy, working on a boat is not only an opportunity for a better job to support his family but also a chance to explore and discover his own country.
Umay
Bogor, West Java
Head Chef
One of the reasons Umay wanted to work on the Majik Cruise is because he enjoys sharing his expertise with the guests that come onboard.
When he was young, he used to watch Japanese animes featuring a chef with special powers, which inspired him. Working on a boat like the Majik Cruise allows him to follow his childhood dream.
Umay is a family man with a wife and two kids.
Andi
Bekasi, West Java
Assistant Chef
Andi enjoys working on Majik Cruise because it allows him to pursue his passion as a chef while visiting beautiful places and meeting people from different countries, at the same time. He enjoys the different atmosphere compared to working on land.
In addition to his culinary skills, Andi is also trained in safety, firefighting, and security awareness. He takes great care to ensure that everything onboard remains safe.
He has a wife and two young children, a boy and a girl.
Yun
Labuan Bajo, Flores
Bartender
Yun holds a a certificate from Liberty International College in Bali and has experience working in various resorts before he joined Majik Cruise.
He particularly enjoys preparing cocktails and experimenting with new mixology. He takes pride in providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
He considers Majik Cruise as his home and quickly learns the preferences of the guests, anticipating their requests. Yun sees working on a boat as an opportunity to gain valuable experience and exploring new places.
Betti

Spa Therapist
Betti decided to work on a boat many years ago because she enjoys the beautiful areas of Indonesia and the challenges that come with working on the sea.Majik Cruise feels like a second home to Betti and besides the crew, she also has friends working on other boats.
Betti takes pleasure in taking care of the guests, particularly enjoying the opportunity to give relieve the stresses of the guests on the sundeck during sunsets. She also loves the sea and hopes to learn how to swim one day.
